Our Story
No one would have ever imagined that something positive would result from the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. But Donald Williams, a native of New Orleans and Founder of Williams Accounting and Consulting, was inspired to start his firm after witnessing the destruction and demise of many small businesses because they lacked the resources and knowledge to maintain accurate financial records and also lacked the funds needed to rebuild due to poor financial planning. His frustration, combined with his extensive background in both public and government accounting, led him to establish a firm that offers comprehensive and affordable accounting solutions.
Our Mission
The mission of Williams Accounting & Consulting is to always combine its accounting services with valuable educational resources, exhibiting our motto, “Accounting With Integrity.” Billable hours are appreciated, but we also take a vested interest in the financial health of our clients. We strive to partner with our clients to ensure that we assist in the growth of their businesses through accurate bookkeeping, professional payroll services and financial advising.
Our Staff
The staff of Williams Accounting & Consulting is comprised of compassionate professionals with broad experience in accounting, finance and financial planning. Donald Williams, the founder of the company, has a Masters degree in Accounting. The firm has two CPAs on staff and also has a payroll specialist who is well versed in software that will streamline your payroll process and familiar with the every changing tax laws that affect your business. Our team has worked for government entities, small businesses, large corporations and non-profits and has the expertise to exceed your expectations of an accounting firm. |
